This place is a kinetic art experience area, meaning 'moving artworks.' In the center of the space, there is a kinetic sculpture called the Kinetic Media Art that moves. Through the geometric yet mystifying movements of the Kinetic Media Art, we can appreciate the lives of Shin Saimdang and Yulgok Yi I, the great mother and son in Korean history, who lived in Gangneung over 500 years ago. By participating in the minting experience, you can create a digital commemorative currency that changes with each moment.
Positioned at the heart of the space, the Kinetic Media Art generates irreplaceable digital images through its geometric and enigmatic motions, unfolding across the entire area. The LED imagery revealed by this endlessly rotating digital engine and the projections onto the three walls interact and converse, reinterpreting the history of Ojukheon, the birthplace of Shin Saimdang and Yulgok Yi I.
Just like Ojukheon Mongnyongsil, a room where the great mother and son were born centuries ago, the Kinetic Media Art will also produce and nurture our noble future values.
